“Football like you’ve never seen it before!”
The documentary OLHO DO BRASIL (« The Eye of Brazil ») relates the incredible story of Joannie, Augustin, Lolo and Antonio. These five blind football fans travelled to Brazil to support the Belgian national team at the 2014 World Cup! Once there, they discovered the country and the Cup thanks to audio-described comments delivered by their guide Jean-Marc.
The adventure represents a challenge to them but also the opportunity to share their passion with the rest while breaking common stereotypes on their disability.
Just like the personality of these four supporters, the documentary is full of emotion and humor. It will delight football fans and provide a glimmer of hope to those who suffer disabilities. Through this documentary, we intend to deliver a strong message on how blind people are passionate about football and how they are able to get carried away as much as anyone.
«Allowing the handicap to be a challenge rather than an obstacle!»
The documentary (52 minutes format) is co-produced by RTBF (Belgian national TV), Novak prod and A World of Football. Watch here a short trailer:
